No Ticket Needed is a free IT knowledge base. We believe your data is yours, so we collect as little of it as possible.
What We Collect
Analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which articles are most useful. This service:
- ✅ Does not use cookies
- ✅ Does not track you across websites
- ✅ Does not collect personal information
- ✅ Does not store your IP address
- ✅ Is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR
We see aggregate numbers (page views, top articles, countries) — not individual visitors.
Newsletter (IT Tip Tuesday)
(Note: The newsletter is currently in testing and is planned to launch soon.)
If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is stored by our newsletter provider, Beehiiv. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email. We never sell, rent, or share your email address.
One thing to know: the signup form is embedded from Beehiiv, and it sets Beehiiv's third-party cookies when the page loads it — before you type anything. If you never subscribe, no email address or personal detail reaches Beehiiv, but those cookies still exist. The rest of the site sets no cookies at all.
Feedback Widget
When you click "Did this solve your problem?" and optionally leave a comment, we send:
- Whether you clicked Yes or No
- The URL of the article
- Your comment text (if you wrote one)
This data is sent to a private Discord channel for our editorial review. We do not collect your email, name, or IP address through the feedback widget.
What We Don't Collect
- ❌ No cookies of our own — the embedded Beehiiv newsletter form sets its own (see the newsletter section above); every other part of the site works without any
- ❌ No tracking pixels
- ❌ No fingerprinting
- ❌ No login or account system
- ❌ No personal data stored on our servers
- ❌ No data sold to third parties — ever

Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time (link in every email)
- Request deletion of your email from our newsletter list — email us and we'll remove it
- Browse the entire site without providing any personal information

If we ever change this policy (for example, by adding ads or affiliate links), we'll update this page and the date above.
